Product Innovation: Crop Spider Plot Divider/Plot Swath Mower

The plot divider Crop Spider has been developed for gentle and efficient seperating of rape/canola plots. The machine can also be used as swather.

Austrian National Prize Nomination for Wintersteiger AG

Machine Constructor Among Top Six in Product Design

On October 22 the Austrian National Prize for "Design 2009" was awarded for the 38th time in the Museum Quarter, Vienna. In front of several hundred guests, State Secretary Christine Marek recognised Austria's creative industries for their services. The Austrian National Prize 2009 is awarded in a total of three different categories. WINTERSTEIGER was nominated in the category "Product Design of Investment Goods" and thus achieved a place among the top six.

Sport, Fun and Games at the 7th Wintersteiger Golf Trophy

Ried/I. 80 sports dealers from Austria, Germany and South Tyrol took up the invitation to the 7th Wintersteiger Golf Trophy on 25 September 2009 in the beautiful Kobernausserwald. The golfers were able to demonstrate their ability under perfect weather conditions - along with fame and glory there were also valuable prizes to be won.

2nd Service and Rental Trade Fair at Ried Headquarters

Ried. The second Service and Rental Trade Fair took place from 24 - 26 August at Wintersteiger's headquarters in Ried. The market leader showcased its entire product range for ski service and rental on an exhibition area covering 500 m². Just under 200 dealers from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland caught up on product innovations and had the opportunity to follow the live manufacture of products from development and production to assembly during a tour of the company.

Wintersteiger makes Donation for Childre

Instead of spending money on Christmas presents for customers, Wintersteiger, the special machine constructor from Ried in Austria, recently donated a sum of EUR 7,500 to the aid organisation KINDERNOTHILFE.

"The generous support of the Wintersteiger company will ensure the survival of 2,500 infants in the flood region thanks to high-vitamin food supplements, milk powder and vaccinations. A further 800 children will receive warm clothing, blankets and sleeping mats. It will also ensure that supplies for the children are guaranteed for the next few weeks," was the delighted reaction of Luzia Wibiral, Managing Director of KINDERNOTHILFE Austria on receiving the cheque.

Experience in GPS satellite navigation assisted sowing

We fitted an automatic steering system to a Kubota L5240 (adapted by WINTERSTEIGER) / WINTERSTEIGER Plotseed S seed drill machine combination for sowing in the fall of 2008.

Cooperation between the ÖSV
